Cody Biggs, CHRS

Cody Biggs currently serves as President of Brad Thibodaux and Associates, Inc. DBA A Acadian Assurance. He received his Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist (CHRS) designation in 2013. He is a registered member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP) and holds all related licenses for health, life, and accident insurance. In this capacity, Mr. Biggs provides free guidance related to retirement architecture to professionals, as well as to already retired individuals. He also provides complimentary guidance to small and large companies regarding their benefit package. This includes, but is not limited to, individual retirement plans, health, life, dental, disability, and vision plans and more.

Brad Thibodaux and Associates was organized in the fall of 1965. A Acadian Assurance, Inc. was incorporated in 1988. This expansion enhanced the services available to clients by providing full–service health, life, accident, as well as property protection insurance. Since the beginning, free analysis and recommendation of employee benefits, retirement architecture, and risk management planning for individuals and businesses has been our focus. He has been working with the company since 1996, became vice president in 2001 and president in 2008.

Mr. Biggs graduated with honors from Baton Rouge Magnet High School. He later graduated from Insurance school and became a licensed producer/agent, first in the state of Louisiana and later in more than 20 states across the USA. During his career he has completed thousands of hours of required, as well as voluntary continuing education. He is considered an expert in the field of insurance, benefits, and retirement income planning. He has traveled all over the country and world to further his education and has met with the presidents, vice presidents, and many others who help to service his clients at the various companies he works with to help meet his client’s needs.

As an active Christian, Mr. Biggs has served as an ordained minister since 1996 and has volunteered in the community for over 30 years. He is married to Kalice Biggs who has been an ordained minister since 2000. Together, they each spend a minimum of 50 hours per month volunteering in the community.
